Circuit sword lite screen issue.

I’m just about at the end of my first gbz build and have run into a little issue. I’ve had a look online and searched the forum but can’t seen to find the answer I’m looking for.

I seem to have a horizontal white line across the bottom of the screen. It’s like one row of pixels kind of thing. Ive noticed before the pi boots it’s not apparent while just the screen backlight is on, only when the pi starts to do its thing and retropie loads up. It then stays there while in use.

I’ve disconnected the ribbon cable and reseated, checked my soldering on the board and all looks good. No dry joints, everything looks how it should.

I’m wondering if it’s a software issue maybe?.

Any help would be appreciated, go easy though with the tech stuff please. It’s my first introduction to the pi world and I’m just getting to grips with it all.

Cheers.

This is with a freshly imaged SD? Does the screen shake at all?

Yes it’s a brand new SD with a fresh image downloaded and installed from the lite git hub. No, the screen is stable.

Hm maybe send me an email and I'll supply a replacement screen, see if that's the cause.. otherwise you can find them quite easily with the part number LQ035NC111

Ah right, I thought maybe I’d get away with a software tweak or something like that, Ah bugger lol

Yep I’ll grab a screen off you if that’s okay, I’m super keen to get it all buttoned up and going.

I sent you an email last night about this issue, Ill send you another in a min just in case.

Cheers buddy.
