It would appear the megabat battery is out of stock in the UK, so does anybody have a recommendation for a good alternative?

Any 125054 lipo (4000mah) I get mine from eBay or AliExpress. Lots of options. Just look for the best price. Here are two that I just found.

Would this work? I’m sure it will fit ok as the GB case normally takes double A and these cells are the same size, but would it be ok?

Check out the Datasheet for the 6600mAh battery pack you linked. In there you will see the dimensions of the battery pack. It looks like the 6600mAh will be way too big since it's 67.5mm x 56.0mm x 20.5mm.

Helder's Megabat fits perfectly in the battery compartment and it's dimensions are roughly 54.0mm x 56.0mm x 12.5mm (I just measured it with some cheap calipers).

Rodocop is right. A search on ebay.co.uk for "125054 battery" pulled up 2 results that appear to be the size you need. One for £8.99 and one for £9.79.

Yeah I saw the same results but they’re from China and will take ages to arrive. I wanted to get this built ASAP. Helders megabat is the obvious choice but galaxy gaming seem to be the only stockist in the uk and they’re out of stock.

Not all Chinese sellers take forever. If using AliExpress make sure to choose Ali express standard shipping or epacket. It's usually decent speeds.

You could also consider the dextech battery too.

It’s cool, Galaxy Gaming have been in touch and are sorting me one out so I’ll just wait for that.

I second this. Also quite a bit cheaper than the Megabat.

I bought from this eBay seller and it was legit albeit it took a couple of weeks to come from Hong Kong.

That's actually the seller I often use as well. Quick shipping usually, 2-3 weeks to Canada. Which is great compared to some eBay, and Aliexpress sellers.
