The V3 is now finally build into a Gameboy with raspi3 A+, Tinker V3, Tinker Dpi. Everything worked out fine except for the V3.
The directional buttons only work one at a time never together (so you can not go diagonally or aim diagonally).
I asked some other people with the same board from before december 2018 and they do not have the issue Other with the board of the same time or later run into the same problem. I think the arduino is not flashed correctly.
For my understanding it is not possbile to flash the arduino to work properly because there is not serial port on the v3.
Any ideas how I can fix this ?
Really sucks after so many hours of work to get it all messed up by bad hardware

Hi Roland,
I just checked my email today and I can see that you just filed a PayPal complaint without contacting me first for an order made on December 2018.
What do you mean it’s not flashed correctly? Because in Arduino you cannot flash a compatible board incorrectly. I mean there’s the verification process on the Arduino IDE when uploading a sketch.
If you know what you’re doing you can flash the v3 using two methods. It can be done via the ISP pins or USB.
Have you tried cleaning the contact pads? If you believe it’s an hardware issue, send it back and I will check.

There’s no way you could have misclicked it. LOL. Especially when you asking for a partial refund.

Re: tinkerboy v3 pcb problem D-pad
A BIG THANKS for Tinkers support:
I was not able to "clean the pads" because we soldered everything into the gameboy. But they are good quality so I think this would not helped a lot in my case.
We unscrewed the button PCB a little bit. It was not very "tight" but now it works a lot better and diagonal movement is possible.
It is not "good enough" for good Street Fighter play for me but I think you can not expect this good level of control from a gameboy d-pad (with the switch stick it works fine).
