Hi all,
I've been looking at building something like a gameboy zero for ages, and I'm finally ordering components
So far, I've ordered
-Tinkerboy V2.0.1 board https://www.tinkerboy.xyz/product/game- ... oy-zero-3/
-Tinkerboy powerswitch https://www.tinkerboy.xyz/product/tinke ... rging+Port
-Aftermerket shell
Gearbest screen - https://www.tinkerboy.xyz/product/gearb ... -boy-zero/
Raspberry pi 0
I need
Extra buttons for front and back
Speaker
Bit of wire
Some brackets (I have models and a printer)
Screen cover
My understanding is that these components will get me going, any glaring missing parts?
I just want to be able to play GB and gbc games on it and maybe snes. It's more as a learning project for me and a bit of fun
Any help appreciated
EDIT TO ADD:
Battery
Volume Wheel
External USB Socket
BOM Sanity Check

Re: BOM Sanity Check
Are you sure that the Tinkerboy powerswitch will work without a battery? Normally these lipo charge/boost converter needs a battery to output 5V, even if you plug in USB power.
And you should consider making the pi USB accessible from outside, because that would make the setup a lot easy.
Also I can not find a volume wheel in your list. And do not forget about the conductive rubber pads, which you need between the button and PCB.
