Battery and powerboost help

Well, some years ago i wanted to start a proyect and build a pi3 GBZ, but the lack of money as i was an strudent ruined my attempt.

Now i am being totally able to finalize that, but now instead im using the new pi4 instead. As far as components go, i have almost everithing already in my house, or at least shipping here, but the powerboost and battery are driving me insane, and i need help from some more experimented guys in this world of modding.

The easy way is buying the tinkeyboy powerswitch, which provides up to 3A, enough for the Pi4, and the well known battery 125054, links bellow. But i notice 2 big drawbacks with them.

First of them is that 4000mah battery is quite a few capacity for the pi4, im trying to adress this issue buy measuring the space i have left inside the case when the pi4 is in place, and trying to find a bigger battery.

But my main problem is with the tinkerboy powerboost. As i understand, it only charges up to 5V 1A, so the GBZ will charge quite slowly, so im trying to find a 5V/3A output with fast charge external battery on amazon, dissasembly it and recicle the PCB with the right size battery.
Will changing the original battery of the powerbank cause any problem?
