Alternatives to vhb and kapton tape.

I don't have any of these on hand, would electrical tape and loctite work as a fix instead?

Vhb tape is mostly optional. You could use hot glue, or super glue etc...and yes. Electrical tape will be fine as well.

(There are lots of 3d models nowadays too, that really help reduce the amount of glue needed)

Be careful with superglue - if you’re thinking of using it around the screen it can cause hazing on the screen itself from the fumes.

It is also not as forgiving as got glue if you need to strip things out to rebuild something.
