Hey all!
So I’ve got most of my GBZ sorted but.. I cannot understand why my PowerBoost 1000C isn’t running my Pi Zero and 3.5 inch screen?
I am running a 3.7v lipo with the Power Boost. But regardless if the lipo is attached or not... when the 5v USB lead is connected to the PowerBoost and I turn it on I just get constant Pi and Screen restarts... like there’s power issues but I can’t see the problem?
I have attached pics and a video of the issue. Any help would be awesome as I can’t continue to finish the build until I know this is working.
Thanks in advance all!

Re: Power issues...
I would remove the VS pin from the switch. No reason to have that attached at all. Only wire EN and GND to the switch. Not sure of that would cause any issues.
You could also try to solder the powerboost output to the pi pp6 (gnd) and pp1 (5v) instead of the GPIO's.

Re: Power issues...
Alos those spliced wires...blue/red going to green/green don't look that great. Maybe address that. Or just solder the blue/red to the pi rather than splicing them.

Re: Power issues...
Okay man nice one I’ll give a go! And yeah the wiring as they are is a temporary thing. Will tidy it all up once I get it all workingrodocop wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 8:31 pmI would remove the VS pin from the switch. No reason to have that attached at all. Re: Power issues...
Have you checked the connections with a multimeter to check the pi and screen are getting 5V?
Failing that, have you tried another Microsd card and a different image?

Re: Power issues...
I’ve actually fixed the problem now
I stopped using the power boost as it just seems not to work. So I’m not using a 5v Regulator board attached to a lipo charging board.
And it works a treat! Thank you for your replies tho!
