Black and red from the LCD? Those are your powers. Run them either to GPIO pins 2 (for red) and 6 (for black) or even better to a perf board that is your central power line.acmaciek wrote:Thanks that helped a lot , what about black and red cable ??

LADIES AND GENTELMEN , I DID IT !!!!
with your help , thank you so much !!!, all I needed to do was clean up the soldering and connect the cables accordingly to RazorX schematics. Thank you once again , I was beginning to believe that it was not going to work or whats even worse that I fried the pi0.

Woot. Looking at your pictures, your soldering is still very inexperienced. No problem there, it'll get better with practice. One huge tip that'll help you from possible shorts: make sure you twist your wires, and then tin them before soldering.acmaciek wrote:http://imgur.com/kqj4P4b

Re: LCD -- Pi Zero HELP
I do not understand how you have being able to get image. In those picture you are connecting both AV1 and AV2 to TV and ground (yellow and white cables). Isn´t it @Fleder and @RazorX ?
Anyway, congratulations

Re: LCD -- Pi Zero HELP
1. the soldering on the screen is way too much you only need enough to stick the wires down
2. sticking the wires in the raspberry pi is not good enough they need to be soldered
3. you have destroyed the ground for video
4. where the chip was i cant tell if you have soldered to pin 2 or 1 or both
5. when you solder a wire down you shouldnt have copper strands sticking all over the place they will bridge the connection with whatever they touch
6. looks like your ground wire is actually just floating and not connected to anything
7. looks like you may have bridged PP1 and PP6
8. the white and yellow wires are AV1 and AV2 you dont need both, remove the white wire and where it connected on the pi should be ground

Re: LCD -- Pi Zero HELP
Glad you got it working, but a couple tips that will help your soldering:

- Prep your wires: Twist and tin them (just twist them so all the strands are nice and tight like a rope, and get a bit of solder to stick to it)
- You only need a tiny bit of exposed metal on the wires. Expose too much and you risk shorting with neighboring wires/components. If you exposed too much, trim it down a bit.
- You don't need much solder. Just enough to make a solid connection. Prepping the wires will help you need less to make a connection.

Only Yellow OR White are to be connected to TV and then GND to the pin besides that, not both.
