Re: LCD board help convert to 5V
Oh I recently completed itPirate wrote:No problems! good luck on your projects hope to see that game boy up and running with that RP3.

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to inform you that I am currently moving very far away, and therefore I am very busy.
UPDATE: I am still alive! My ISP is setting up my internet on the 19th of January at my new place, explaining my offline-ness.
If you write me a PM, I will very likely take some time to respond.
Also, my 2nd build will soon go on, so if you've been following it, please stay tuned!
Many thanks for your understanding!

I just spent some time yesterday looking into the OrangePis and how well they worked with retropie. They look awesome and have some good specs to them. Did read that they run a bit hot though. Stoked to see your finished build with one!
Re: LCD board help convert to 5V
I have all Orange pi models and so far the OpiPC is the most reliable when it comes to gaming all I have to do is add a heat sink and that's it. If you really wanted to you can also add a micro fan but that's not really needed for a portable hand held device.
