I don't want to to the gameboy zero, just wanting to add a bigger screen alone, could any one give me a hand or have any videos to help ?

I'm guessing you mean you'd like to add a larger screen to an original Game Boy. I'm not sure if what you're asking can be can be done. As far as I know you would need another larger screen specifically designed to only work in the original Game Boy, I've never seen one, and I don't a generic one would work. Please if anyone disagrees me, let me know.

99% sure this is impossible. The resolution is fixed. Even if you were able to somehow get a larger screen to work, the resolution would be exactly the same, just with larger pixels.

I mean like, instead of adding them extra buttons etc just adding the screen and noting more ?

You don't have to add extra buttons for the Gameboy Zero, and you could just run GB games on it.

Yeah, kitchbent made the original 2 button dmg common ground panel but most people doing this mod want to play either snes or gba games (or genesis/megadrive) so need extra buttons. But if you only want to play emulators that only need one or 2 buttons, just don't do those bits. Gameboy zero is not a mandate that you have to do exactly as wermy did... It's your project, do exactly what you want

VGA mods exist for the original hardware. you could try to fit this with a VGA capable screen inside the original case, But the new screen would take up a lot more space than the original
