Hi, help using Gameboy Zero to run Raspbian OS

Hardware-related questions that don't fit into any of the specialized hardware categories go here.

Teensy is a separate controller board that can be programmed as keyboard or as joystick. This in combination with the input board give either joystick movements to the pi or keyboard characters to the pi.

with Helder's AIO there is no teensy involved here, his board is the combination of both. By default the board is programmed as joystick and not keyboard. Helder can confirm if this is correct or not.
There must be a way to program the board again? (Except I wouldn't want to desolder or reverse engineer the build. Would it be possible to do this through Arduino on the Raspbian OS?)

I'm desperately in need of this to be done for a project of mine

Yes you can reprogram it. Helder has 2 tutorial links here:

I REALLY don't know how, but after hours of searching up how to map gamepads into keyboard strokes, I installed joy2key (albeit missing GUI) and finally re-mapped the buttons to certain key strokes.

thanks everyone for your help!
