I have been redirected once but I know that the guide I was directed to was not the correct board for the version of the back up camera I recieved. The picture is but my problem is I don't know where the voltage regulator is and how to wire to it. Also thank you [mention] crispy_tofu [/mention] for directing me to a site that would have helped me if I had that board. Does anyone have an example or pictures of the mod to this specific board?

Do you own a multimeter? I have an idea, but to be sure you would have to check.
Does the left 8 legged chip has something written on it?

This screen appears to be the same board as Niceshopping's. Before modding anything, test first if it will power on using 5v. Ensure you have video being fed to the screen when you test bec. the LCD will not turn on unless video is coming in.

See my LCD board below being powered by 5v without any modification. Very similar to yours.

Without suggesting anything, do you think it could be the one on the right? Most of the PCBs I've seen always have an 8-legged IC near the main display IC, which normally isn't the regulator. Hmmm...

I thought it could be the one on the left. He has to measure the legs to be sure where the 5v output is.

That's true, it was only speculation on my part.

Thank you all for your advice I got it working fine off of 5v. The whole reason for this post was I was unsure the video didn't cover it and I didn't want to mess it up.
