Multimeter Test for B, A Buttons Question

Post by ako5ta » Thu May 19, 2016 6:10 pm

Hi,

In guide #2, when wermy solders the wires for B,A buttons and then says to hot glue it all down just in case it breaks, then says to put it back in the case and perform the test with the buttons to check resistance. He is using the top 2 buttons X,Y and not B & A.

Just confused as the 2 wires soldered were for the botton 2 buttons.

I have it all soldered and when doing the test for the B, A with the multimeter on the PCB they work but with the buttons in and when pressing them down they don't.

You may want to check your soldier points. This sounds like it's grounding out.
