Bittboy screen with rpi?

I've torn down the bittboy and am trying to figure out if the existing screen can be used with a rpi zero.
The panel is a hitachi 2.2 inch IPS display but the ribbon cable doesn't look like any of the connectors I've seen in the [Guide] ili9341 SPI TFT Screen on Retropie http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 2&start=10 thread.

Any thoughts on how to figure out if it can be done?

The first step is to find a data sheet/pinout for the screen. That will then let you see what input the screen will take, and you can go from there

Just done a quick bit of searching and it looks similar to this

The pin count is right, and some basic pattern matching in the ribbon looks to match the pinout too!
