Screen voltage

Post by Brenz » Mon Jun 20, 2016 6:21 am

Hey guys, i recently got the http://sudomod.com/wiki/index.php?title ... te_Display and I'm having some trouble with the battery/ the input voltage. I'm using a 3.7 volt battery i picked up from a local electronics store http://www.jaycar.com.au/18650-recharge ... e/p/SB2308, though when i put power on the board using the battery it flickers and turns off and on. Though when i hook it up to a 6 volt power supply from the wall it works fine, I'm a little confused.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Pic attached is from the wiki but is exactly the same as my board with the wire modification.

Of course it flickers. The battery is 3.7v.
You need a step-up module or the powerboost to bring it up to 5v at least.

There are no silly questions. We all have those blockhead moments every once in a while :D
