Re: Share your favorite Retro games!
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)
Doom (PC) - That counts as retro....right?
Mega Man X (SNES)
Legend of Dragoon (PS1)
Final Fantasy III (SNES) - AKA Final Fantasy VI on PS1
Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Super Mario RPG (SNES)
Super Metroid (SNES)
Lots of SNES games in my top retro picks, because growing up I had a SNES and played it for a long time, I used to have to go over to a friends house to play N64 and PS1 games. So it made some of the Final Fantasy games and Legend of Dragoon took literally months of me going to my friends house after school to play the games in small increments.

Re: Share your favorite Retro games!
In no particular order, and I am positive a lot of these are blinded by youthful nostalgia,
Darkwing Duck (NES)
Earthworm Jim (Sega Genesis)
Super Star Wars (SNES)
Dungeon Master (DOS)
Star Fox 64 (N-64) "Do a barrel roll"
Pokemon Red (GB)
TMNT: Turtles In Time (SNES)
Mutant League Football (Sega Genesis)
I actually started running into inner turmoil thinking about this. How many generations ago for consoles need to be counted to be retro?! Ha!

Awesome list so far, found some new games I'll definitely try out! Love the variety so far, but looks like SNES is winning out for sure lol

5. Bart vs Space Mutants (Sega Genesis/Mega Drive)

There are many more games I'd die for and don't want to miss, but I mentioned the ones I got addicted to as an infant and I spent (wasted?) most time with.

Re: Share your favorite Retro games!
How modern is allowed? Coz my first 2 are saturn based!
1. NiGHTS - Favourite game of ALL time.
2. Burning Rangers. - The day Sega announces a remake of this, I will actually explode.
3. Day of the tentacle. - Such great memories of playing it at school and everyone chipping in with ideas.
4. UN squadron (snes) - First time for me that a home version blew the arcade version out of the water.
5. Defenders of Oasis (game gear) nearly went blind playing this on that awful screen! Can imagine it's a nightmare to play on an emulator though as I remember having to constantly refer to the manual to see what the spells were!
