in store only. they let you buy 1 for $5 to get you in the store. any more than that are $15 each.

thing is, you can get 1 wireless and one not for the $5. then i just bought 2 and the wife bought 2.

Can you (or someone else) clarify: Micro Center will let you buy one Zero v1.3 and one Zero W for $5 each in store? Because most on-line shops will only let you buy one Zero, of any kind - if you add a v1.3 to your cart, you can't add a W, and vice versa.

In Store you can buy as many as you want, the first is cheap the next are more money.

they let me buy one of each @ $5.

so here's what i did. i placed an online "pickup" for one zero and one zero W. went in and paid for them at the pickup counter which is separate from the registers. paid the $10+tax.

then i went to the maker section and asked that they bring one of each up front to the "cage" to purchase. my wife did as well.

when we went up front i said i had the 2 for me and the 2 for my wife in the cage. we each paid for ours separately. i even handed her the change from my sale to pay for hers. the cashier didn't seem to care.

if it wasn't over an hour drive i'd do it every weekend.

Micro Center is extremely strict on this policy because they said that their license can be revoked if they violate it. As another said, I normally order one Pi0 and one Pi0w for online pickup and then go to the DIY section and pickup 2 more. The store will not let you do multiple trips in one day, I've tried.

When I'm low on Pi I go with my wife so I can get away with getting 8 for $40. :ugeek:

So is it 'your mileage may vary' that they let you buy one of each for $5, or is that standard practice?

Also, good tip about the pickup/checkout. I'm not in the US, so I'm hoping to get a buddy to scoop a few for me, but only if it isn't going to be a massive hassle.
