This is normal behaviour.
It works like an on/off switch.
For safe shutdown you need to install script.

Any news about a fix in the script?
Version 1.02 still hangs the system when battery goes low!

I am running short on these boards. They're not as popular as the PowerBoost edition and cost quite a bit more to produce, so it's unlikely I will be restocking once these are gone. I may do a cut-down board in future without low battery alert, which should reduce the cost slightly but that would depend on demand.

I don't get much time to look at this stuff these days. I still have a change by guarnacciaa to test and merge in, so will probably take a look at this issue at the same time. Not sure when that will be though. Will try to take a look soon.

I'm making my first build, and at first didn't consider the Safe Shutdown, but I love the functionality. The thing I'm planning (already bought) a display that uses DPI, so almost all the GPIO pins will be used for the display, as stated here:

https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... rrypi/dpi/

My question is: with this board, the instructions wire to some specific pins:

Circular On is the keep-alive pin, usually BCM/GPIO22 (physical pin 15)
Circular Off is the shutdown pin, usually BCM/GPIO27 (physical pin 13)
Circular Low is the low battery pin, usually BCM/GPIO17 (physical pin 11)

But those pins are used no matter which mode of DPI you choose. Mi question is: can we use other free GPIO pins for this? or are they fixed?

Thanks!

Hi, @camble

Please tell me will it work with this: https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/Elcrow-R ... Title=true Powermanager ? Will it completely remove power after shutdown, and can you deliver to Ukraine? Thanks

Do you share the schematic of this board? I'd like to know how the mosfet is connected.
