Re: [For Sale] Game Boy Zero Controller PCB W/ Optional Audio(Worldwide)

Ok so after doing some tests on various boards there seems to be an error on my part for the audio output of the amp (kite helped me discover the error), turns out the " - "of the audio output I had mistakenly added it to common ground which pretty much kills the output.

So it seems that this kind of kills the whole idea of the way it's connected and pretty much a new board will need to be designed to really remedy this.

So now I need to see if people want a partial refund since the PWM works and the amp too with a little modification but not sure it's user friendly as it is with the mod or if people want to wait another week to a week and a half for me to have a remedied board.

Anyone who wants a refund let me know even the last batch I will partially refund as mentioned above, whatever people decide let me know though an email or PM. Please tell me you paypal email and real name when contacting me so I know who is who.

Sorry guys.

Don't contact me about obtaining my board files (as you will not get them). If my Boards or PCB Kits are sold out, they will be restocked as soon as I can get them and there is demand for them. You can join the mailing list on my Website to be notified when they are available.

So that leaves the question for stereo {since you based the amp on a mono guide) does the L- and R- on the input need to be split (if using usb)? What about on output?

Sorry to hear about this.

Let me be the first to say I would never dream of asking for a refund. I know you're making next to nothing on this and for the most part doing it to help everyone else out. I'd rather find use of the board, or toss it out for 10 bucks rather than take money out of your pocket considering all you're doing. And I hope everyone else feels the same. I have two on order, I'll stick it out and wait for the next batch.

Thanks again for all your hard work and honesty.

@Helder, I am cool with the modification man. Just post a quick example of the modification with pictures and I am fine keeping my board at full cost.

Thanks guys, I'll post a fix in a bit on the first post so it's easy to find.

Basically I did a short video or rather 2 (my first ever!) and it explains what needs to be done and again if there are problems just contact me. Also this will not cut off the speaker unless more wiring is done but I haven't hit that point yet to figure it out, for now it simply goes to the speaker and headphones. The videos will b up shortly.

That's too bad to hear about the boards being faulty but I'll see what I can do to fix it using your guide. I just hope I'm capable of the modification being a noob at board repair. Automotive wiring and diagnosis no problem lol. I just hope it's an easy fix for everyone's sake

I just saw your video and half of it we cant see what your referring to but just to clarify, the left lifted pin 3 goes to the "+" side of the speaker and the right lifted pin 14 goes to the "-" side of the speaker? Is that correct?

I'm more of a visual person. I asked the person who created a diagram to create a diagram with his fix.
