How exactly did you do this? I am to getting static through my stock gameboy speaker.

Be sure that the volume wheel is connected to common Ground then be sure both pins 14 and 3 are lifted. Solder a wire from pin3 which is now lifted to the headphone point which is the orange line in the image but don't attach GND to the headphone pcb, as long as the volume wheel is connected to Common Ground nothing besides the 4 connections below need to go to the headphone pcb:

@helder couldnt the gnd from the wheel, be soldered directly to the gnd spot near pcb audio L and R? and then pin 3, directly to the jack?

I had audio hiss, I added the following line to /boot/config.txt

Code: Select all

disable_audio_dither=1
That solved the hiss for me anyway.

Totally down for at least 2 of these all in one boards. Will build my brother GBZ with one and possibly replace the current setup in mine with one. Awesome work!

I have a board I'm testing this weekend with USB Hub, Arduino, audio filter and amplifier plus the drill template. Can't get anymore complete than that.

I already bought your board without the sound hardware installed.
But as soon as you get this one out, I'm buying again. :-)
Any idea when they will be available?

Either this weekend or by the following Monday or Tuesday. Roughly a week from now and there will be one with just the audio and atmega for those who don't need the usb hub but those I will have only 10 of them.

This is what the new all in one will look like:
