We know as much as you do right now. I would speculate that the screen is drop in, someone is working on a 3d printed bracket to secure it. You'd have to drill X and Y button holes, obviously, and one for the joystick if you want it. I would venture a guess that you may have to modify the rear of the shell a bit where the cartridge slot goes and remove the backing from the cartridge. It doesn't look like high level stuff. I'd imagine more details will come when the product expects to ship in June.

the 640x480 screen has the same physical dimensions as the stock screen. The glass lens protectors fit perfectly as they would with the standard GameBoy CM3 / Pi build.

Ah, in that case bluish squirrel makes a glass screen lens that has a little bit thicker of a border to cover the bezels on the screen.

Hell yeah! Ordered my circuit gem kit and can't wait to build one for my birthday. It'll be a late birthday gift to myself. So glad I didn't sleep on this restock/pre-order. I shouldn't have but I couldn't resist getting one.
And I agree, if you need/want a glass screen lens I so recommend bluish squirrel. He does amazing work.
