Camble wrote:Alright, I sent out the first few dozen boards today. I have enough boards assembled to fulfil half of the pre-orders. The second half will experience a slight delay, as once again I've been sent the wrong components. Won't take long as soon as I get the replacements, but I can't guarantee when they will arrive.

Basically, if you ordered on or after September 6th, you'll have to wait a little while longer. I'll keep everyone informed.
Awesome, can't wait to get my hands on it. I actually paused my build to include this. I wasn't worried about a safe shut down but if you're gonna make it this easy, why not? Should we expect a shipment notification when it's been sent out? (Pre-order placed 8/23)

@caste So did I  Thanks for your patience. If you ordered on the 23rd of August, that was day one so yours will have been sent a couple of days ago.

I was thinking of sending out E-mails when orders are despatched, but hadn't got round to it. Takes a fair bit of time to arrange postage on so many small international packages.

@Ganreizu Don't waste your money, you'll get a switch with it anyway.

Right on man, good to hear. I look forward to it making its way over here.

Received mine today, thanks. Very compact and the switch integrates nicely with the switch toggle and the case itself.

I have a question. Looking at the AIO wiring diagram, how does the GBZ stay off when on battery power or plugged in? The PB distributes power to the relevant components, does it know when the switch on the safe shutdown is off?

The switch is connected to the EN and GND pins of the PowerBoost, which allows the output to be shut off.

Thanks, I knew it'd work as intended, I was just curious as to how it interacts with the PB. I have a fully working GBZ (minus switch). It looks like this can be integrated straight over the top no? 4 wires to the Pi, 3 to the PB. I don't have a reset switch, is that optional?

@DarrylUK Reset is optional, yes. LBO and Low-batt are technically optional too.

Alright, I've ran out of completed boards. Everyone who has one or more coming their way will have an E-mail notifying them.

Hopefully the remaining components won't take too long getting here. I've got a rhythm going now, so the remaining batch of PCBs will ship as almost as soon as I get the parts.
