EagleCad. The free version is pretty much the paid version with a few limitations on 4 layer boards but for most projects 2 layers is enough.

Yeah that's what I've been using software wise for a bit now,it's very nice and easy

Just as a faster alternative to DirtyPCB, you could upload gerber file to Seeed Studio for PCB Manufacturing. My experience with them is you typically receive the boards 2weeks after placing the order depending on your shipping selection. Excellent quality and service.

I've used them before and they are good but for the average person who has no idea what to do with gerbers or even know what gerbers are the links I setup at DirtyPCB are for the those people who just want a simple click and buy option.
