arrived yesterday, more sockets should be arriving tomorrow. so, these are good to go! rev. b (kk_gb_zero_b) will be arriving in the next day or two which has the socket along the edge to use with shells which have a slot cut out in them, but personally I'm fond of this with a half-front shell because I can remove the card easily and just let the cartridge stay in place.

should be arriving on monday, if FedEx is delivering regularly then (its a holiday monday here), and if not then, on tuesday. ready to go, otherwise! i don't do pre-orders as there is always the unforeseen thing to happen, and learned from past efforts. hiccups can pop up any time, so prefer to have stuff in-hand. they are on the way though

the pinout diagram is the last pic. it hooks up in the same manner as wermys guide, if not the same pinout, but thats not too hard to change. you'll find the solder connections are easily accessible with this and placed in way to be easy to solder to. just follow the pinout diagram and match it to the connections for the sd card itself.

osaka brand LOCA is what gets the best reviews, from customers and online, but just make sure you buy the real stuff. there are a lot of fake Osaka tubes floating around out there, both in shops which are unaware of this and especially on alibaba/aliexpress. it will cost a bit more, but its best to get the right stuff and get a good result than waste a lesser amount of money on a product not worth using. the cheap types are not worth the money.

I have an old cartridge at home...if I order pcb only will I only need to cut out a little piece of my cartridge and plug in a a micro SD card to make it work?
In other words: will the little metal piece to plug the SD in be on it or do I still need to solder?

Good question... if it is already attached I definitely applaud this seller for making it easy on us. I feel like adafruit is pretty slimy when it comes to that, they have a board that is required to get one of their displays connected (sold separately) and in the 3rd photo of it they show it with the proper ribbon cable connector attached. After asking to clarify they tell me it doesn't come attached. Who in the heck wants to solder 50 pins that are 0.5mm apart?! Pretty sure over half the buyers of that item ended up not even getting to use it.
