Hello Moders,

Of all the forums and sites I visit daily, I won't miss SudoMod for reading and watching people's projects. While I have my own list of planned projects the challenge is time, finding time between work/kids/wife etc to find my own time to play in garage

So as KITE is moving faster with Sword than I'm able to find free time for projects, I've decided offer my SAIO and PI3 Extender to anyone ready to build and has been clamoring for KITES excellent craftsmanship. The board is a thing of beauty and part of me wants to keep it just because. However, in the spirit of community KITES boards are highly sought after and so I'm offering this for anyone ready to go. My offer is the SAIO and Pi3 Extender kit for $150US plus shipping. Please contact me with any questions. Included bits in pics below.

I might be interested in it, but I am relatively new here, having only built a MintyPi to date. I am aware of Kite's boards and am hoping to get in on round 2 of his CM3 sword boards, I don't know much about the Pi3 extender. Does it plug into where the Pi Zero would solder in? Just trying to learn a little before I commit to buying.

I have been playing around with the search trying to find info, nothing specific found yet but I am digging thru the support thread.

You'd have to solder an adapter board to where the Pi0 would go and another to the Pi3. FYI, the Pi 3 will need heavy modification for it to fit in the case. Heavy meaning that you need to desolder the usb ports, Ethernet, camera, and display. You'll also need to dremel down the Pi3 to get it to fit properly in the video game cartridge bay. Take a look at Kite's wiki page for the Pi3 SAIO build.
