FS: mintyPi v2 - SOLD

Post by sygyzy » Sun Jun 17, 2018 1:09 pm

Hi, I am selling my beloved mintyPi v2. This was a real struggle to build but it taught me so much and I am super happy with the end result. I want to thank Cory for helping me troubleshoot this and for giving it some needed TLC to get it perfected.

It includes the following:
  • mintyPi v2 PCB
  • 2.4" screen
  • 32GB microSD card - I am 95% certain this is a Samsung card. It's fully setup with the mintyPi image
  • PCM2704 sound card
  • 3.7v 1200mAh Li-ion battery
  • Wermy custom printed hinge, and 3D Printed parts
  • Newman's Own Organic Ginger Mints Dragon Tin - for something unique
  • Raspbery Pi Zero W
  • All silicone wires
  • Kapton taped connections
  • Thermal pad between battery and Pi
  • Mode button backed by bracket for stability
  • Extended L and R shoulder buttons for easy reach and functionality
  • Retropie and Emulation Station fully setup
  • Extras: extra set of buttons, drill guide, and any other 3D printed parts I have lying around.
Everything works great but please note this is a handmade DIY project. It has my own character and personality in it; it's not a perfect factory piece you'd expect from Nintendo. The holes were cut and filed by hand, and not with a CNC machine. The controls all work but with some buttons you'll need to press with a little bit more authority. This was not a cheap project either and spent over $220 in just parts (albeit I have some extras like wire to last me a lifetime). If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Thanks for looking.

Just want to compliment you on a beautiful build.
Love the tin, and the colour scheme.
