No sound on video splash screen

Post by Italian77 » Sun Jun 17, 2018 3:45 pm

I am new to retropie and just completed my first build with Kite's Circuit Sword. I started testing out different themes and I even installed a .mp4 video splash screen. The splash screen video plays but there is no sound. I have sound in all my games though, just not the splash screen for some reason. Am I missing something simple like an option for enabling sound on video splash screens?

I fixed it this morning :) it isn't on the pre-made image, but can be updated with the following guide: https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sw ... ing-on-Pi)

Looks like they changed how video splash works on the new 4.4 version!

SSH (putty). Double check your commands, the page on the wiki says

Code: Select all

cd Circuit-Sword
and from your code paste you haven't typed that
