I lost my wifi connection.

Post by jlbp87 » Fri Apr 26, 2019 4:53 am

Well as I indicate in the title, I do not know why, the wifi has stopped working.
The last time I used it was transferring files from my PC to the CS and it worked perfectly. Today when I turn it on, I find that it does not connect to any Wi-Fi network.
I have opened it and it does not contact the chip with anything, so I discard it as a "hardware problem".
I enclose some images, to see if someone can help me out.
Thanks!

Could you do the mode combo to turn wifi off, wait 10 secs, and mode combo to turn wifi on? .. afterwards, can you collect these logs files: https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sw ... -log-files

I had tried to activate and deactivate the wifi using the button combo (without waiting 10 seconds) and it did not work. This time I did it waiting for that time and perfect, everything returns to normal. :D
Thanks Kite!!

Hooray! There is a bug in there somewhere, where the wrong action in the code is sent (rfkill to disable the wifi) BUT the software thinks that it should be on (hence the icon showing up). The waiting a little while and toggling it seems to reset the state... it is something I hope to address, if you could send the logs anyway that might help me locate it! :) if not don't worry
