There is no mention in the logs of anything to do with the built in wifi adapter bus/detection. This means that for some reason the wifi chip on your Zero W isn't working at all.

You can use USB adapters, and for example if you switch the little dip switch to enable the external USB and plug in a USB wifi module (you may need to have the CSL plugged in to the Micro USB power connector in order to give it 5v) and then use the on screen keyboard to connect to your AP

Thanks so much for nailing it down to being on the Pi side. I'm going to use the external Wifi via USB for now, but I'm going to look into getting a new Pi to throw in there so I don't have to keep opening up the case to get the volume working.

Thanks again!

What exactly do you mean by that? Once configured you shouldn't need to open it unless there is fault or i have missed something?

When I enable external USB through the dip switch it disables my audio. I thought that was just a given with the CSL?

Correct, but you should only need to remove the battery to change the switch

Just wanted to update this post for any interested. I have now fixed this problem by removing the original Pi Zero W and installing a new one. I must have had a bad Pi Zero W. WIFI is now fully working and games are even playing better, or maybe that's just a placebo.
