Just adding that the PDF guide is a bit out dated, so always start with the wiki:

About the Circuit Sword Original
People here keeps asking over and over the same question before reading the OP where almost everything has been answered.
the OP is here https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 178b86f3f9
Then you have the wiki for the SAIO which gives more tips
https://github.com/kiteretro/Super-AIO/wiki
And finally the wiki for the CSO which is not fully finished but from my eye, already more than complete.
https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sword/wiki
Here’s wermy’s youtube channel to watch videos on how to tweak the shell
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRP1Zx ... wkB2Ov5pMw
For soldering courses, go to Abrugsch post. It’s very useful
https://www.sudomod.com/community-spotl ... ng-school/
Thanks to neolith for his contribution, he reminded me a great thread from inches about soldering and buying soldering tools
https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=3024
People must understand that even if this build is going to be a breeze, YOU MUST DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE DIGGING INTO IT.
Stop asking what was already covered.
For extra needed parts, look here
https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4351
Which is nothing more than original post !!!
For any other issues, use the support forum for kite’s products

For inspiration about what to build, use the show off forum.
Shoulder Buttons
For shoulder buttons, you have erik_gee’s solution with DMG style buttons
https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3805
Or erik_gee’s solution with tactile buttons
https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3364
You can also help goodBEan development for a 4 tactile switch solution
https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=4624
You can also go DieselDummy’s solution with something innovative
https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=5065
Or go the soft membrane way with HoolyHoo’s solution
https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=5103
Brackets
As for the bracket for screen and buttons and joystick, HoolyHoo is the master
https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2553
And as for the bracket for kite's shoulder button pcb (free gift for all of us i kindly remind) wermy seems to be working on a 3D printed part that he will likely sale or give for free as a stl, it's up to him.
Kite's pcb can be used as it with some glue, it's up to you.
I forgot to mention kubino for a CNC cutting service for the shell
https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3309
As for the batteries, you can go with dextech 5Ah battery which will require heavy mods to the battery tray
https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2320
or go with a standard LiPo 125054 rated 3.7V@4Ah which requires no modification at all to the battery tray.
For special support about the non Kite designed stuff, contact creator.
I have created a FAQ for the laziest builders https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sword/wiki/FAQ
What else ? Have a coffee and read everything.
I’m locking this topic because it’s becoming everything except something.

Re: Read before posting
I'm also finding a lot of links are out of date.
I'm coming back after a year or two looking for a guide that used to exist with photos on the setup.
