No HDMI Output in SAIO Board

Post by jlbp87 » Sun Jan 21, 2018 2:35 am

Good morning.
I have a problem that is driving me crazy.
I have soldered the Pi Zero to the SAIO board, and connect the MicroSD to the SAIO, the HDMI to the PI and the power directly to the PI.
In the Test Mode I see all FAILED (I suppose this is normal at this point), but I see the image on the monitor and it is reading the MicroSD card perfectly.
However, when soldering the 3.3V Jumper and connecting the power directly to the SAIO board, both the Pi and the SAIO are powered but I can not see anything on the monitor.
What can be wrong?
I attach an image of the board.

Thanks.

With it powered exactly as you have it there, measure the voltage on the pins on the PI SIDE (so this is actually what the pi is getting). Look up the Pi zero pinout to see which is GND and VCC and 3V3 .. hint VCC (5V) will actually be 3.3v

PS why did you solder through the holes rather than using the included headers as detailed in these instructions? https://github.com/geebles/Super-AIO/wi ... SAIO-v0.6c You would have had a much better time if you had done that :)
