I think I found a minor issue with the mode button. When i fitted it into the gameboy case, the button was not long enough to push in. If I need to adjust the volume or something its not going to work well. So basily I soldered it out for a longer one I had.

Besides not having a battery I am pretty much good to go, but I do think for future versions having a longer tact switch for the mode button would make things lot easier to use.

I saw last night that it was a known issue. I can't find it on the wiki now, Kite said it should be fixed for the next board. I ordered 6x6x7 to replace mine with, what length is the one you're using?

my 9 sticks out a little bit, but the 6x6x6 should do it

You can still dremel it to shorten. That’s what i do to all the tactiles and it allows me to curve the sides of the top so that it does not hurts my finger when i press them.

6x6x6 is what I specified originally to be put on the boards but they put something like 6x6x4 or something. I'm going to make sure they put longer ones on for the next order!
