[Solved] Button 5 Not Working

Post by Mitaccio » Sat Mar 17, 2018 7:26 pm

I have 3 of the v0.6 that I made with just the four button config and everything was working fine. I am adding the shoulder buttons from eriK_gee and running into an issue. I have the buttons wired as usual with the supplied wire harnesses and am running into an issue with mapping. Every time I try to map the R button to button 5 I get nothing. I have tried swapping the wiring harness from L and R to see if it's a connection issue, but the problem is specifically mapping to button 5. I have no idea what I need to check/do next. Any help?

Picture of what you are connecting them to? You can use ANY of the L1/L2/R1/R2 ports, it doesn't matter about their name, as you map it in gui.. so just use another one

I figured it out. I assumed that the wiring harness for the back buttons would use black as the ground, not the yellow.

Hurm, I'm having the same problem. Everything works but R1. I've desoldered and resoldered it with same results. Black is showing as ground to me not yellow. Maybe a mix up on some boards. If you used yellow as ground did you use black as button(or the red?)
