Hi guys, yeah I popped those both in and have had them in for a while.

But the shut down text doesn't seem affected by them which is odd.

Try adding:

Code: Select all

dmesg --console-off
To your rc.local file right before exit 0 and reboot. Let me know if that works for you.

In case you still need this info:

/etc/rc.local
Everything you put in there will be executed, as root, at boot.
