Analog volume wheel doesn´t work

Post by SuperPitendo » Sun Jun 24, 2018 1:33 am

Hi,

I followed the wiki and installed the analog volume wheel from the last pre-order.
But I dont get it to work...

I use the Circuit Sword V1.1E, the backboard with the analog volume wheel V1.00 and the RetroPie 4.4 image from Kites releases.
The wires are attached properly (picture below).
I´ve done anything like the wiki told me (Arduino update -> new method to calibrate joystick -> enabled analog volume)

I set in the config.h the proper model (1.1E) cause it was set to the 1.2 model as default.

Hm, can you double check the connection in to the back board itself (the 3 pin cable), is that fully seated? If you inspect inside the white connector on the board, are there any bent pins?

It's acting like the pot isn't connected

I checked it MANY times before I posted here my issue with the board.
But yes, I´ve done it again with the same result.
There are no bent pins, neither the CS nor the backboard.

Ok with it disconnected.. can you use a multimeter in resistance mode and probe the following points to measure their resistance.

1. Put pot dial into the MIDDLE
2. Measure from point A to B
3. Measure from point A to C
4. Measure from point B to C
