Mode button always pressed with HDMI board

Post by Denver » Fri Jun 29, 2018 7:39 am

Hello,

I've made my first attemp with the circuit sword (#5).
Everything goes well with the volume wheel back board but I'm having trouble with the HDMI back board.
It's booting OK, but it's acting like the mode button is always pressed on.
For example, if I'm pushing left or right, it's ajusting the luminosity...

There is no bend pin on the connector and the blue wire is correctly connected on both boards.
I don't understand if I'm doing something wrong...

Thank's for your help!

Denver

If you remove the 6pin cable from the back board, does it still act like the mode button is pressed? - You will need to HOLD the power button on the board itself to turn it on. When you release the button it should init shutdown (or if the mode button is help it might instant power off)

Hello,

I've removed the 6-pin cable, it's acting the same, like the mode button is pressed.
But it's only doing this with the HDMI board. The volume wheel board is working fine.

Ok cool perhaps it's a short on the board somewhere, if you'd like me to send you a replacement could you send me an email with your address :)
