Is it possible to add two speakers to the CS...
A left and a right speaker (stereo)

If so how would this be wired up (and also configured, if need be)......

Hey, how much work would you like to do? the AMP built in is mono, so in order to get L/R stereo you need to get a stereo amp breakout board (not exactly hard) .. if you're ok with that, I can show you what you'd need to solder to get it to work as expected?

See the picture attached.

1. Remove the 2x resistors in yellow (this will disable sound to the onboard amp) - this can be done by using a lot of solder so it melts both sides at the same time, and move the iron to the side and it'll come right off!
2. Wire from the bottom of the headphone jack to your new amp, I have labelled L and R and AGND

!! IMPORTANT !! = The "AGND" pin is to only be used as the audio/analog ground, on your picture this is ONLY the GND between "LIN" and "RIN". For the other GND and +5v you should use the test pads nearer the CM3. I would also suggest probably using the 3.3v pad instead anyway but you can try and see, it'll affect the volume.

This will work as normal, where if you put headphones in the amp will no longer make sound

that seems fairly straightforward.....


is the other amp (mono) still being powered (or hooked up).....

and if so, could i not disable it and grab (solder to) the power that was being supplied to that?
