Screen alignment

Post by Jfenton78 » Fri Nov 02, 2018 6:21 pm

So the screen for my CSO has been misaligned since day one. Its finally gotten to me and needs fixed. I'm using a Helders AIO screen bracket. Any recommendations on making sure its aligned?

Do you have a link or a photo of what you are talking about? It would be a lot easier to help you. Also, is it something that can not be fixed by an over scan tweak?

The problem is not over scan or similar. It's the actual physical alignment of the screen. In the attached image you can see the top boarder is higher on the left. The is also apparent on text.

Yeah that's definitely a physical installation issue. Only recommendations I would have are to make sure the inside of the shell is nice and smooth. Sometimes there are dimples left from the injection molding process. Also, make sure your screen is aligned properly within the bracket itself. If neither of those adjustments are possible, you may just be stuck with what you have

Thanks Diesel. I was hoping I missed a trick or two to ensure alignment, but other than patience and time not much else to do. I may try to print a new screen bracket, but that would require disassembly again. I guess I'll try to live with with for longer, but man I do love this system.
