On-screen keyboard not working in some games

Hi Kite,
I tried the on-screen keyboard with DraStic Nintendo DS emulator but the game does not recognize the keystrokes. (it would be practical to save state, flip screens, etc.). Is there any way to make it work?

What keys are you trying to press? Is it actually configured to listen to the keyboard? The on screen keyboard really works like a keyboard.. have you tried plugging in a USB keyboard and pressing the same keys? And does that work?
Yes to all. With USB keyboard works (for instance, using 'a' or 'd;' to switch screen modes).
Something strange: DraStic actually does respond to ESC key from the virtual keyboard, but no other key works...

Interesting, i've never tried it. I can take a look but at the moment i'm not sure what exactly i can do differently. I suggest first looking to see if you can reconfigure the keys and map them to something on the existing buttons rather than keyboard keys?
Sure. No big deal, just finding small stuff as I play around with the vistual keyboard. I am using it quite frequently as I am still finding issues from time to time with USB keyboard (commemted in another post)
