Circuit Sword Guides?

Post by mafiarat » Thu Feb 14, 2019 12:02 am

New time poster in here, I built one of kite's circuit sword builds a few months back, and I've enjoyed it immensely. I want to move it into a new shell, and add joysticks to the build. When I originally built mine, I distinctly remember there being several guides with images on how to properly setup and wire the circuit sword. I've been digging around trying to find them for ages, and every time I find a post where someone links someone directly to it, it just takes me to the page with the FAQ and the How to setup checklist.

Are there still guides and wiring diagrams and all that around? I'm starting to feel like I'm crazy, and imagined their existence.

I understand it's pretty easy and straightforward for the most part, I'm just more of a visual person, so I really just wanted some high res pictures of both sides of the board, and the back board and power switch board, so I don't have to take mine apart to reference everything. I'm sure I can figure it out, I just remember there being a step by step with pictures, that made it a lot easier for me to get the steps in my head before building.

No worries though, I'll just figure it out and take some pictures when I rebuilt it so I can reference them next time I order a board.

Cool ok that makes sense, yeah I remember the page. I'll look to reinstate it at some point (little busy packaging at the moment) :) thanks for the feedback

Hi Kite, any update to re-instating the older documentation on the github site? I'm finally getting around to building my circuit sword and need the instructions on case modding and also the modifications required for the 640 screen.

Thanks in advance!

If anyone else is looking for the wiki, I've restored a copy here. Presumably there is some dangerously outdated information, so use at your own risk.
