Working on the Sword and it looks like I may have an issue with my power switch. Can you double check my connect images attached and let me know if you see anything out of place. I went through the testing wiki and everything seems connected just fine.

Power Switch not working and not booting
Hey Kite,
Working on the Sword and it looks like I may have an issue with my power switch. Can you double check my connect images attached and let me know if you see anything out of place. I went through the testing wiki and everything seems connected just fine.
Another thing I noticed, is when I hold the power button down on the board while connected to USB-C power, all the lights come on correctly but the screen is white/grey and never boots the raspberry pie boot logo which I thought was strange. It also auto shuts off after a few minutes. This could be my memory card so I will try a few things, but I may report back here if I cannot get it figured out.

Re: Power Switch not working and not booting
K, the boot issues was my memory card so no worries.
The issue is the power switch. If I follow the wiki, I do not get the 5v power light on the USB and mini HDMI board when I connect USB-C power and switch the power switch to on.
Thoughts?

Re: Power Switch not working and not booting
Is there damage to the flexible FPC cable? Are you plugging it in so that you can see the BLUE TABS pointing up when you put it into the connector? I'm talking about the plastic at the tips, not the blue text on the cable

Hey Kite,
When you say BLUE TABS are you referring to the ends of the ribbon cable? I thought I had it in the right way, but I will check again when I get home tonight.
Does the ribbon cable on fit one way? Are both blue tabs suppose to be pointing UP on the main board as well?

Re: Power Switch not working and not booting
Yeah on both ends it will 'look the same' with the bright blue ends pointing up (so that you can see them). Hopefully it's something simple like that

Re: Power Switch not working and not booting

I would point out that the wiki doesn’t really show the connections before inserting. Maybe an update could help, up to you. I’ll report back tonight.

Re: Power Switch not working and not booting
I went back and looked at Wermy’s most recent video displaying your product and I noticed that you know how there is blue text on the side where the blue tabs are on? Well, my blue text is on the opposite site and that is what I used as my guide that is in your wiki. So yeah, that has to be it because mine is backwards from your’s and wermy’s... ill report back.

Kite,
It was the cable being connected incorrectly. Thanks for the heads up on the BLUE tabs need to be facing UP when connecting.

Re: Power Switch not working and not booting
Awesome
I'm glad that it was something easy
I'll look in to updating the pics or adding a bit more clarification on the blue tabs
