Had put my sword CM3 togather a couple months ago, everything went smoothly and loaded fine. After using it a bit, I set it down and didn't pick it up again for maybe two weeks or so. Flipped the power and got nothing. Plugged it into the charger thinking maybe it drained while sitting, and nothing, on charger or after it had charged overnight. Tried a spare battery known to be charged and I still got nothing. Just took it apart today to check all the internal LEDs, and it's dark, both on a tested working charger or the battery. I removed everything from the board to try and test it as if it were brand new, and I still get nothing, no LEDs whatsoever.
Anyone ever run into this? This was a very expensive project for only a week or two of use.

Re: No power/No charge
Hi could you show a picture with it plugged in? Do you have a multimeter/voltmeter and are able to measure the voltage at the capacitor right next to the USB C connector?
Also a couple things to try: plug the USB C in the other way up? Do you have a USB C to male USB that can be plugged into a PC and try that? (I do appreciate that you have tried known working chargers etc and do believe you on that).

Re: No power/No charge
First picture (these may be posted backwards mind you) is the bare board plugged in. Second picture is with the battery added just in case, but 0 change to the board. I have plugged it into my laptop, and still no change nor did the laptop even notice anything plugged in. Also pic added with the meter testing the capacitor.

Re: No power/No charge
Hm, nothing obvious wrong and it's getting power in as you have shown. The magic all happens in the charge IC which also passes the power through to the rest of the board.. i imagine that is gone.. if you send me an email, i'll repair it for you
