Good day,
I tried searching for any other mention of my query. I am wondering if their are any changes to the circuit sword that is to be shipped in June 2020 that would prevent it from fitting inside boxypixel’s aluminum DMG shell?
Thanks!

Yup, I believe its the heatsink that needs to be modified.

Thanks for your reply! Do you know where that reference is? Is it something I can grind down to make fit, or is the issue a lack of aluminum?

The CM3+ that comes with Kite's newer kits won't fit in the Boxy Pixel shell without modifying the shell - the built-in heat sink is too big. If you are fortunate enough to have access to a CNC machine you can do this yourself, but for the rest of us it is likely easier to just buy a CM3 lite board which will fit. There is zero performance diference between them apparently. See Kite's response to my questions here:

Ah this is helpful to know! Zero difference besides ability to overclock a small amount, which isn’t even recommended, and to use the CM3 Lite version.
Thank you for passing this on!
