I edit my config.txt and add : dtoverlay=pwm-2chan,pin=18,func=2,pin2=13,func2=4
My wiring seems good:

Do you have any ideas how to get audio?
I'm curious about this too. I'm in the same boat. I'm currently waiting on a new audio jack but I couldn't make the GB jack work, and I even tried wiring the speaker directly (with proper resistors and ferrite beads) and go no audio. I made the addition to the end of the config file using WinSCP.

I can't tell but do you have purple and blue wires conected at left AND right. It looks like their on the same pad.

I see so meany people using notepad to edit config files (not just this forum) its fine but notepad messes up the formatting download Notepad++ it keeps the formatting, is easier to read and its free.

Yes left and right are both connected.

I have edited mine with 'sudo nano', so it's not the problem.

Might be a silly point to make or i missed it, but how are you both wired to the PI? are you def connected to the correct GPIO?

Put your SD card in a PC and edit the config.txt (I use Wordpad) and add the PWM Audio lines which should be in the first post. NO AUDIO will work without those lines in there and you will have to turn up the volume is the retropie options too.

OK, I'm too having sound issues. Is there a known issue with the sound on the very first version of the all-in-one board? I can post pictures if that will help, but here's the highlights.

I'm was using stock dmg volume wheel and audio jack. I wired the jack and volume wheel up according to the first diagram at http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 261#p12261 including 10ohm resistors and ferrite beads.

I added "dtoverlay=pwm-2chan,pin=18,func=2,pin2=13,func2=4" to the last line of my config file.

For testing purposes I wired up WM0 pad on the AIO to GPIO pin 18 on your Raspberry Pi Zero and PWM1 to GPIO pin 13.

For testing purposes I supply power and ground from pads (PP1 for 5V and PP6 for GND) to appropriate points on USB header marked "USB from Pi Zero".

I play a game (video is connected to monitor). The game plays but I get no sound on speaker and just a deep loud sine-wave-like rumble on the headphones. Volume wheel does not seem to affect loudness on that noise.

I suspected the stock volume wheel. I replace it with the aftermarket wheel wermy links to in his video. There is no change. I pull out the jack and resolder all the points again. There is no change. I pull the jack out and wire the speaker directly to helder's boards board using the resistors and ferrite beads. There is no change. I go into the configuration on the Pi and force audio out the 3.5 mm jack as opposed to HDMI. There is no change. I re-solder with the aftermarket audio jack in wermys video. There is no change. I move the "dtoverlay" line to replace the normal "dtoverlay" line a few rungs up. There is no change. I adjust the audio volume in RetroPie. There is no change. I've rechecked or replaced everything except Helder's board and the PiZero.

I need some help here. As an instrument tech I'm in the habit of exhausting all my options before calling tech support. I knew most of the steps above wouldn't fix the issue but I was looking for some pattern to clue me in. I'm not beyond missing something obvious, but if this were to happen at work I would suspect the all-in-one board. Can I get some help?

Post you config.txt file and also your wiring pictures of the volume wheel and audio jack so we can see what is wrong in the wiring and anything in the config.txt file too.

Hello I'm having a little bit of a problem with my audio, the left audio works just fine no static perfect but there's no right audio at all, whenever I connect the right audio I get static noise and a faint left audio signal ( i tested this running some games that use left and right audio)
and whenever I connect both signals L and R to the speaker I get poping noises and crackling sounds. Has anyone else experienced this before?

Awesome. Thanks.

It's hard to tell from the pictures because I ran them behind the board but the red and black wires are run to the USB header labeled "USB from PI Zero". Red is 5V, Black is Ground. Also I posted a screenshot of the config file. Let me know if there's a way to post the actual file on the forum itself, please. I originally had the added script on line 62 (Green line) but moved it up to replace line 51 (Red arrow) based on a statement made in another post. It didn't make a difference.

What am I missing?

Thanks.
