Sure but to utilize the headphone jack and built in audio why not go this route?

Didn't someone bypass the filter before when using a pi 2/3 so they could still use the pot pads and amp?

Looks easy enough to solder back down.

Hi,

I just received my all in one 2.2. My question is do I still need a powerstrip? The 2.2 board appears to have one but it could be related to the volume. If anyone could let me know that would be awesome.

I actually have been reinforcing the headphone socket with extra solder because some have come damaged like that or even worse from the manufacturer and these damaged boards will eventually get sold at a discount. Post office must have man handled it but the socket can be easily attached back but looks like one of the pads lifted off and you will need a jumper wire or scrape the trace and add some solder to make a connection.

Here is a color guide of alternate points you can use for each pad on the headphone socket:

It's already on there and how is it related to the volume?

I unfortunately seem to be having audio issues with the v2.2 board. I have followed the instructions in the beginning of the support thread and have wired everything properly. I have modified the config and cmdline files to edit them. No audio from speaker or headphone jack. Any ideas would be appreciated.

As having it mentioned numerous times on the thread and forum post pictures so we can see how it's wired. The problem is usually the wiring and or the config file which you seem to have right so that leaves the wiring now.
