Can someone help me w this please? Much appreciated.paeblits wrote:I want to add an analog stick to my build (AIO v 2.2 board) and I've been searching the forums but can't find a clear answer. Has anybody successfully wired up an analog stick? If so how did you do so? And do I need any additional/different code?

Hello,
I have accidentally damaged one of the capacitors on the AIO v2.2 board(the one marked c7). I wanted to ask you what value and kind of capacitor should I use as a replacement?
Thanks

Thanks for your reply on this.Mischief wrote:They are in the retropie menu on emulation station, you will need a keyboard for alsamixer.daboosa wrote:Hi MischiefMischief wrote:Solved the volume on the speaker, I turned alsamixer volume up to 75 then went into retroarch and turned the volume up to 12db and now the sound is a good level out of the speaker I do however have to turn the volume down when using the headphone socket but that will very rarely get used so not bothered by that at all.
Could you give the command prompts for changing alsamixer and retroarch, I've been scratching my head over this for a couple of hours
Daboosa
I'm sorted I have a decent sound from the speaker much appreciated

For anyone whose doing this in retroarch just remember to turn on save on exit otherwise it won't work
Thanks again Mischief

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Good evening,
has anyone got a wiring diagram for the latest version of helders board? I just cannot find anything and I am not sure how to power it up (for testing) directly to the pi.
best regards
Toni

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Hi,
I wired my Helder board pretty much like that. I also wired the Screen (Power comes from Helder board, Screen works) but my pi doesnt recognize the helder board as usb controller - shouldnt it work just like that or do i need to do something differently? I twisted D+/D- cables.
Best regards,
Toni

Hi All,
I have stereo sound via headphones but nothing on the speakers. The pot works when using headphones.
I have PWM wired up and added to the bottom of the config.
Using the latest AIO board
Thanks

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
Doing a bit of probing on the board there is continuity between r15 and +speaker. Also tried 3 other speakers and none are producing sound. @helder is there any other way I can test? Thanks
Edit:
Ran the command 'amixer cset numid=3 2' and I now have sound, turned it right up to 100 and now it sounds like I am sitting next to someone playing music through headphones it's so quiet.
Volume in Retropie is whacked all the way up too.

Hello.
I need help.
I started this days to mount the AIO 2.2, but I have a problem. To start mount, I conected all conections, but not work. Later I desoldering, but one track desoldering. Now, How can do the conections?

I added the wiring diagram to the first post because it's so hard to figure out all the connections on your ownkokosgeek wrote:Hello.

as for your burned off and ripped trace you can fold it back down and scrap the white coating and solder it to the wire or use any part of the trace I outlined in red by scraping the white coating and solder the wire to that exposed trace but be careful not to rip that trace further.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread
same problem here(really low sound), Alsamixer is at 80(any higher and it crackles) and retroarch is at 12dB.PIXeL_92 wrote:Doing a bit of probing on the board there is continuity between r15 and +speaker. Is there something were missing?

Just found one of helders posts:
Gonna try that tomorrow.Helder wrote:
I used 200 ohm resistors to quiet the speaker and headphone just slightly because the headphones were really loud but it also affects the speaker. It sounded fine for me but if it sounds too low replace the resistors circled in green with 10ohm resistors, they can be normal through hole resistors.
