Neogeo Insert coin issue

Hello, I am new to this community and raspberry pi so i apologize in advanced for inexperience. If you want to correct me using detailed explanations i would love the opportunity to learn.

My issue is not being able to play neogeo games because pressing the select button only takes me back to retropie.
my hopes are to allow the select button on my GBZ to initiate the insert coin function.
this issue only seems to be linked to "pifba" because when i used a bios i picked up from a youtube video "lr-fbalpha" the issue went away.
however this bios is not ideal for me due to its performance not being as good as "pifba" from comparing title-screens.
I am using KITES Circuit sword lite with a raspberry pi zero w. I did try my best to resolve this issue before coming to this forum and i was told to check ( /opt/retropie/emulators/pifba/fba2x.cfg ) for button mapping but I'm a bit confused. However the controls from kites board appear to register as a keyboard ill leave a picture of the file i took from an SSH login.

I hope i was through in giving information useful if you have any question please ask i should be able to retrieve any information needed.

-Thanks

SELECT is mapped to the ESCAPE key, so you might need to re-map that?

You’ve probably already managed to sort it by now but just in case.

It was based on the Older AIO board but it’s works fine.
