[SOLVED] Screen completely black on newest pcb + screen combo

Post by wormwoody » Thu Dec 07, 2017 4:50 pm

I think everything else works because i hear the intro audio through the speaker. Maybe it is just a sd card bug or worst case a dead screen.

Try to resit the flat cable, you may have a bad connection ?

Be sure you reflash the SD and also it's likely the ribbon needs to be reseated or you have a bad connection on the Screen connections.

If you tried fresh image + reseat the ribbon cable then your last option is reworking the solders pins of the screen

Post pictures of your wiring and also do you have a multimeter to test the GPIO connections?
