MintyPi Image

Post by Rakanel » Wed Jun 19, 2019 7:38 am

Good morning Sudomod Forums!

I am putting together my first MintyPi V3 and things are going swimmingly. I am at the part where I have soldered the PCB and pi. I attached the speaker and loaded the image. It all boots fine, but I don't get that MintyPi Spash screen. Should I be concerned? Everything else works well, and sound works, but the Minty Pi Spash screen is missing. Goes straight from the RetroPie>emulationStation.

Thanks for your time!

To my knowledge, the mintypi and sudomod splash screens were left out of the updated image file. Not sure why, I thought it was a nice touch on the original

DieselDummy is correct, it was removed. I believe it was because it took up resources when booting which reduces battery life more than one would think. I could be incorrect on that though.
