Alternative to 3D printing (moldable plastic)

I found this cool product while surfing online. It's plastic that can be molded by simply heating it. What's really cool is that it can seemingly be reheated an infinite amount of times allowing for 100% recyclability.
This looks like an awesome alternative to 3D printing since it's cheap and doesn't require special tools. It only requires water and your hands.
Here's the video I found:

It is sold by adafruit: https://www.adafruit.com/products/2504? ... aQodHsQOnQ
Has anyone ever experimented with this? What are the results?
